The Storytellers

I take my role as a storyteller very seriously, because I know the stories I tell will have an impact on others - for better, or for worse. So often I see stories that focus on the darkness in the world - betrayal, hurt, suffering, pain. I see so many stories that focus on lovers, rather than on love - because those are different things. I don't think many people remember that. But the love between friends, between family, between everyone, is so much more important than physical attraction. Yet it lies forgotten, and some people wonder if it even exists.

The world has forgotten these things, I think. So as a storyteller, I will do my best to tell stories to help people remember. The simple stories that do not change the world, but perhaps, they will change a life. The stories of friends, of kindness, of love, of faith and hope and gentleness.

There are enough stories of the dark. I want to tell the stories of the light.
