Description

So, if it's not obvious, I've been playing X version for the past few days. Blindlocking it. I'm in Cyllage City at the moment, and I'm training up for the gym. (Don't tell me what to expect with the gym, it being a blindlocke - I'm not allowed to have prior knowledge going into it. XD)

I've had a huge headache today and thus got very little done, but it's starting to alleviate, so I decided to test out a new brush set along with drawing my team in Kalos.

Yes. This is my team.
ALL OF THEM.

Rotation teams are...fun. X'D Pretty much, I've been training whatever I catch. I haven't lost anyone yet, which feels impressive, and then I remember I've only got one badge...there's a whole lot of travel between badge 1 and badge 2, apparently. I mean, look at my team.

No true close calls, either. The first gym was a shock because I didn't realize you could leave, once you went in...so that was a scare. But my team managed to scrape through at the time.

*cracks knuckles* and now to tell you all about my little kids from Kalos! X'D

The Veterans

Fenry the Braixen.
My starter. Male, Relaxed nature, loves to eat. He's a real friendly, laid-back sort of guy. Even though he was the starter, he really isn't the leader of the team. It's not his speed. He prefers to let others make the tough decisions, and he'll support them.

Virdan the Pidgeotto
The "official" team leader, and my first catch. Male, Adamant nature, somewhat stubborn. A real tough bird-of-action. Virdan doesn't take any slack from anyone, so if you're on HIS team, you'll shape up quick. He's a bit resentful of Wren, who outperforms in him battle, but still treats her cordially, as he does all the team. If you earn his respect, you'll have a comrade for life.

Meadowside the Vivillon
Third catch. Male, Calm nature, loves to eat. He and Fenry are chums, very similar to one another. Meadowside likes to fight more than Fen does, and enjoys his position as a go-to fighter. But he also likes his time to sit back and have a snack. He's got a good head on his shoulders and Virdan considers him his "second in command."

The Middle Fighters

Wren the Fletchinder
Female, Quirky nature, quick to flee. Wren is a bit of a mix up, unsure of herself and her place in life. She considers this journey sort of a quest for her to figure things out. She scares easily, worries easily, but is also easily cheered and quick to laugh. Overall she just seems very...flighty. Her uncertainty in her abilities is unfounded, because she's a powerful fighter, even stronger than Virdan. This fact, coupled with her flightiness, irritates him to no end. As such, she's nervous around him more than others on the team.

Combusken
Sometimes called Torchy, he never quite settled on a name for himself. He goes by whatever anyone calls him. He's the special Speed Boost Torchic you get. Naiive nature, hates to lose. He's a bit of a puzzled thing. He loves battling and dreams of being an incredible fighter, especially due to his special ability and the fact that he trains quicker than the other teammates. Because of that, though, he ends up in the box twice as often as the slower teammates. This confuses him greatly. He's not very good at reading social cues. But he'll be ready for any fight when it comes.

Mantra the Roselia
Female, Rash nature, mischievous. Mantra is a wild child, excitable and hot-tempered. If she's excited, she's beside herself - if she's upset, she's livid. She loves rubbing other teammates the wrong way, flustering Wren, confusing Combusken or irritating Virdan. She's not the strongest fighter, but she's still valuable for her ability to capture wild Pokemon (plus cut down small trees.) She pretends like she's not threatened by Brigsdel, but she is. Very. So she messes with him most often.

Brigsdel the Ivysaur
Given to me shortly after catching Mantra, he's been under her ire since, as he's the stronger Grass type on the team. Brigsdel is Male, Bashful nature, highly curious. He's shy and introverted, feeling uncomfortable in large groups since he doesn't know what to do with himself. He doesn't have a very high opinion of himself, which he struggles with, but has been doing better since joining the team and evolving. He likes reading a lot, and learning new things.

Tugis the Furfrou
Male, Naiive nature, somewhat vain. As the team got larger and rotation became necessary, Tugis became a third "leader" for the team, especially with the newer teammates. Friendly and outgoing, he has high standards and an honor code when it comes to fighting. Sometimes he can be a little gullible, but he's good-natured about it. He's highly defensive about his fur. He does NOT want it shaved or trimmed in any way, and instead takes great care in grooming himself and keeping the fur clean and styled. His one great pride is his looks. Despite that, he's a good guy and a powerful fighter, one of the strongest on the team, and quick to rely on.

The Newbies

Gregor the Whirlipede
Somewhat the leader of the newbies, he's been on the team longer than the other new kids, but the middle fighters were all on it a lot longer than him. As such, he's sort of in between the two. Male, Calm nature, thoroughly cunning. Gregor doesn't say much, but when he fights, he FIGHTS. He's powerful and controlled. When he does speak, it's always with care and it always means something. He seems to look out for himself rather than other teammates more often than not, but he's a strong fighter beside, so that makes up for it.

Darulain the Sandile
Male, Quirky nature, good perseverance. A stout, good-hearted guy. He's rather small for a Sandile, and is determined to work past that. He's yet to show much affinity towards other teammates, as he's only just started training, but he's nice to all and a hard worker.

Yarrow the Drifloon
Male, Hardy nature, a little quick tempered. Yarrow thinks of himself as a leaf on the breeze, willing to go wherever the wind takes him, and for now it's taken him here. So that's cool and all. He's tough and not much fazes him, but there's the potential for some hefty anger if you get him riled up. Mostly he's just chill. He's taken a bizarre liking to Willow, and provides the fish with transportation while on land. For some reason he's amused by him.

Haranda the Amaura
Male, Hasty nature, proud of his power. Haranda is a warrior, he is awesome, and he is certain of that. He's brash and unrepentant when he makes mistakes, but he's strong. He managed to take out a horde of Nosepass with just two Icy Winds once during training. He thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. The only time he seems a bit less loud, is if you ask him about what happened before he became a fossil. He gets very quiet and moody when it's brought up. Having a past life seems to be part of the reason why he's so brash in this one - perhaps he's drowning out memories. Or perhaps he's just noisy and thinks he's hard core.

Willow the Luvdisc
When I caught him, I, ahem, didn't notice what gender he was. So, assuming it was female, I named him Willow. Thank goodness it can be a gender neutral name, but he still hasn't forgiven me for that. He's Male, very male, and very sensitive to the fact that he's male. He's always being confused for a girl because of his species, and he HATES that. He's supposedly "Relaxed" nature, but he's yet to be very relaxed since joining the team. He's also very finicky. I've yet to train him in battle, but I know for the moment that I'll have to, as he's the only water type I have. So despite his touchy and sometimes violent temperament, he's on the team.

And last but not least, the newest catch,

Ithric the Eevee
Male, Calm nature, impetuous and silly. Ithric is a bit of a stick in the mud. His fur is a muddy grayish brown, which in certain lights looks silver and makes him appear shiny, but he's not. He's austere, brusque and very...grimace-y. He tries to be stoic and proper at all times, but he's also very clumsy, and while intelligent, he's not very clever. He tries to groom his fur so that it's always neat, but he still hasn't noticed that it sticks up in the back all funny. Being brand new to the team, first impressions are important...and so far, it's just hard for the others to NOT snicker at him behind his back. He just tries so hard to be all stern, but then he'll trip on his face, or completely fall for a joke or prank, and then try to act all stiff again. Mantra just can't WAIT for him to be trained and be a part of the team fully...she'll have lots of fun with him.

....and that's all my kalos kids. Now I am tired. This took...like...two hours to write. ;u; Why do I do this to myself.

I'm going to bed.
