Description

There are those, in the world of Mae'Rel, who wield powers beyond the mortal frame. Those who have walked the earth for centuries, protecting its people and fighting for its peace. Mist on the wind, the hidden watchmen who guard us all. They are the Old Folk, animals of a forgotten age, timeless and powerful.

This is the story of the one born to lead them.

The Arcandin.

This is the cover for the novel I wrote, The Arcandin, which I finished two years ago. It took me three years to write. (I started it when I was 15.) I've been meaning to edit it, clean it up, and really make it amazing...but I've got too many projects, too many ideas, that the story was starting to be put aside in favor of other things.

Then I decided, what the heck. If I won't be trying to edit the story, it's certainly not doing any good growing dusty in my hard drive. So I decided to clean up the word doc, make it look nice, paint a cool cover for it, and publish it myself as an e-book. It's not published yet, but this is the cover, and that little blurb might be on the back of the book or something. I'll let you guys know when it's published so you guys can buy it. :)

If you don't want to buy it, I'm also considering taking the story and doing it as a webcomic. As my main webcomic after NuzRooke is through. But that won't be for at least two years, so don't bet on it. I'll probably get other ideas in the meantime. XD

My younger brother got this book for me for Christmas last year, and I read it this winter. It's truly amazing, Rooke! I love your style of writing, the characters are so interesting, and the plot fills me with wonder. :'3 You did a fantastic job, so congratulations!
