The start of the final chapter.

Some of you guys thought the story was over with that last page. Silly.

You may have forgotten Rooke's actual purpose in challenging the league, but finally it comes to fruition. And it turns out that Lance doesn't know how to get her home, but he does know someone who might...who didn't. XD Or if he did, he didn't say. Luckily, Suicune was also visiting such old friends, and could therefore approach Rooke at last with an answer.

Now, I'm sure some of you will get your skirts in a bunch over the incongruity of what happens in this page, so let me explain. XD

YES, I changed the order of when you find Lugia, for the story's sake. In game, I had to do the Lugia side story stuff BEFORE challenging the league, naturally. But since I wanted to tell this aspect of Rooke's story, I rearranged the timeline.

NO, I did not go to Kanto and challenge Red. Why? Because I had just survived a nuzlocke and didn't want to risk my team further. At the same time, I wanted to give a cameo to Red and Mt. Silver, because hey, it's Red. He's cool. And he's a big part of SoulSilver as a game. So even though I didn't want to actually make it that far in the game, I wanted to give a nod to that part, and involve him in the story.

Plus I wanted to have an awesome scene where Rooke gets to ride Suicune. I mean come on. That'd be so cool.

At the end, there, the rest of the team flying in is more symbolic than anything. Kai was on my team when I went to the Whirl Islands, so he had to be there. Plus, I figured the whole team should be there for the end.
